Where it all began — and why it still matters.

About Memory Tree Keepsakes

Hi, I’m Christine.

If we were sitting together right now, I’d probably hand you a cup of coffee and tell you how this all started — not with a business plan, but with a moment I’ll never forget.

Years ago, while cleaning out a drawer, I found a handwritten card from my brother, Lee, who’s no longer here. The words were simple, but seeing his handwriting again stopped me in my tracks. It felt like he was right there beside me — for a second, I could hear him again.

That small card reminded me of something I think we all forget in this fast, digital world:

our handwriting, our keepsakes, our little tangible things — they’re the anchors that connect us to who and what we love most.

🌿 How it's growing

I started making wooden cards and keepsakes because I wanted others to have something that could last. Not just a gift, but a way to hold on to the people and moments that mean everything.

I work with beautiful domestic hardwoods sourced from small, family-owned American mills. These folks share my belief that nothing should go to waste — even the sawdust becomes fire briquettes or bedding for local farms. Every part of the process has purpose.

When you hold one of my keepsakes, you’re touching something crafted with the same care that went into Lee’s card — something made to be held, cherished, and kept.

🪵 What I believe

That slow, handmade things still matter.

That family businesses are the backbone of this country.

That beauty and integrity belong in the same product.

And that the words we write — in our own imperfect handwriting — are far more meaningful than anything typed or engraved.

Every order that comes through my shop still passes through my hands. I check every grain of wood, sand every edge, and package each piece like it’s headed to someone I love — because in a way, it is.

💚 My promise to you

When you choose Memory Tree Keepsakes, you’re not buying from a big company.

You’re supporting a woman with a small workshop, a deep faith in honest craftsmanship, and a heartfelt mission to help others keep their memories alive.

These keepsakes are made to last, made to remember — just like the people and moments they honor.

Thank you for being here.

It means more than you know.

Christine
